As of March 2024, Arkansas's 2019 abortion ban is state law, which prohibits all abortions except those to save the pregnant person's life in a medical emergency. The ban does not include constitutional or statutory protections for abortion, and Arkansas Amendment 68 states that the state's policy is to protect the life of every unborn child from conception until birth.
